Hon Christine Apolot donates an ambulance to the people of Kumi District
Kumi District woman MP Hon Christine Apolot has brought a smile to the faces of the people of Kumi after fulfilling her pledge to buy them an ambulance which will be used to transport patients.
The long waited pledge was fulfilled early this month with Hon Apolot saying that she has started with one ambulance but planning to buy more because only one can not be enough for the entire District.
Having served as the LCV Chairperson for Kumi District between 2016-2021, Hon Apolot says she is aware of the many problems the people of her District face with staggering Health care being one of them.
She adds that she is lobbying for Kumi District so that government can set up more health center IVs in the area with the only few ones present being overwhelmed with the big numbers of patients that come on a daily basis.
She also promised to work with the local leaders to make sure that government drugs that come to the Health centers are not stolen away by corrupt and ill-wishers within the area.
